The second video here is yet another three strike mustang that I took home from the 2011 Fletcher, NC adoption to do a public demonstration with, at the Tractor Supply in Oak Ridge, TN.
Karma helped me with this one too.
The little fella found a great adoptive home with Gena Winkle Brown, of Maryville, TN.
He now goes by the name of "Tater"

I love it when these guys get good homes

In this video I had met a little filly that still was not tamed to point of trusting others, let alone trusting with her feet.
Moreover her feet had grown out to the point that I had to get them trimmed down to a healthy level. To do this, and keep myself safe, I had no choice but to lay her down. Once she lay down for me she completely gave herself to me with sign of wanting kick, but rather seemed as if she was quite aware of of my intentions.
She lay completely calm for me to trim her feet.
I do not recommend laying down a wild horse if you have not had good instruction in learning how and why to do it.

In my travels to the United Kingdom I was asked to gentle a wild "Dartmoor Hill Pony" which was supplied by "The Friends of the Dartmoor Hill Pony Society". This was to be part of an episode of "Edwardian Farm" a program series that was featured on all three major BBC television stations.
The program was filmed by "Lion Productions" and the series is a historical view of Southwest England, which is Devon County, during the early 1900's. This is also the part of England that the movie "War Horse" took place in.
I would like to thank all my friends in England for having the confidence in me to do this for them, and hope you enjoy watching.

The video on the left, is at a BLM adoption in Fletcher, NC in April 2011. The Mustang is a three tear old on the three strike list.
We chose him for the first demo to try to get a "three striker" a good home.
I think he did pretty nice.
The horse I'm riding is Karma, a 6 yr old Mustang given to me by Jill Whitt, who acquired the horse from Andi Harmon.
